Software Development Engineer in Test (Web Applications)

In this role, you will focus on building scalable integration automation frameworks and enhancing existing frameworks for automated testing of web-based cloud, backend, and mobile applications. You will design and implement functional and integration automation tests, ensuring comprehensive test coverage at various levels. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with QA, SDETs, and software engineers to maintain and improve Zoox's end-to-end validation workflows. • 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test with proven skills in writing automation frameworks for cloud applications from scratch
• Experience building functional and performance automated tests for backend cloud applications
• A self-starter who is capable of defining and implementing new tools and processes from start to finish
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency with Python, Typescript, and tools like Git, Buildkite
• Hands-on Playwright automation experience
• Experience in implementing AI tools in the testing domain (Claude)
