Software Engineer (Mapping Data Software)

• Develop and maintain the geometry algorithms that power map data interfaces, and implement key parts of mapping data format.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features and grow the APIs that downstream consumers depend on.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development cycle, including prototyping, requirements capture, design, implementation, and validation.
• Proficiency in C++
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong code-quality fundamentals - correctness, testability, modularity
• Experience working with large data sets
• Strong mathematical skills, particularly in computational geometry
• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Familiarity with road network topology
• Experience working with geographic data, spatial acceleration structures, or surface meshes
• Knowledge of statistics and metric design
• Experience with software profiling or performance tuning
