Software Engineer (ML Platform, Machine Learning Training)

Join Zoox, a company focused on revolutionizing transportation through autonomous driving technology. As a Software Engineer on the ML Platform team, you will play a crucial role in developing and operating the core part of the ML platform that powers model training at scale. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to significantly push the boundaries of how ML is practiced within Zoox.

• Concevoir, mettre en œuvre et exploiter une plateforme d'apprentissage automatique robuste et efficace pour permettre l'entraînement, la validation, le service et la surveillance des modèles d'apprentissage automatique.
• Collaborer étroitement avec des équipes interfonctionnelles, y compris des chercheurs en ML, des ingénieurs logiciels et des ingénieurs en données, pour définir les exigences et s'aligner sur les décisions architecturales.
• Construire le cadre d'entraînement Zoox utilisé par toutes les équipes ML au sein de Zoox, en veillant à ce qu'il soit hautement évolutif, fiable et efficace.
• Experience working with cloud providers like AWS
• 2+ years of ML infrastructure experience
• Experience with training frameworks like PyTorch, DeepSpeed, JAX, Ray, etc
• Experience with building large-scale, cost-efficient distributed model training and ML compute infrastructure
• Experience with building model lifecycle management tools and experimentation
