About The Role
Join Dow Jones as a Sales Specialist, where you will drive the adoption of our geopolitical, security, and macroeconomic analysis solutions across the US. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a strong track record in enterprise solution selling and a deep understanding of security and geopolitical risk. You will partner closely with various teams to craft strategic solution narratives, own complex sales cycles, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. Additionally, you will contribute to thought leadership, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and maintain accurate sales reporting.
- Expanding Dow Jones' footprint across the US by driving adoption of geopolitical, security, and macroeconomic analysis.
- Owning and driving complex, high-value sales cycles for Global Risk Insights solutions, including flagship subscription services.
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, positioning Dow Jones GRI as a long-term strategic partner.
- Strong commercial acumen with consultative selling skills and familiarity with methodologies such as Challenger, MEDDPICC, or SPIN
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills tailored to both business and technical audiences
- A collaborative mindset with experience working across matrixed teams including marketing, product, and customer success
- 7+ years of quota carrying experience in enterprise sales or business development, with a focus on the geopolitical/security/macroeconomic/data or analysis space
- Experience in field sales and willingness to travel across the region (approximately 30%)
- Proven success in selling to large enterprises and managing complex deal cycles with multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions
- Business-level proficiency in local language is a plus; English fluency is required. Additional languages are preferable
- Demonstrated ability to navigate strategic accounts, identify key decision-makers, and build influence at the executive level
- Regional experience and cultural fluency across relevant markets
