QA Engineer

Join CarTrawler as a QA Engineer and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, reliable software across front-end and back-end systems. You will work within a collaborative Agile team, design and execute manual test plans, identify defects and risks, and champion quality throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and delivering an excellent customer experience.

• Collaborer avec les équipes de projet, les ingénieurs, les chefs de produit et les designers pour garantir que la qualité est intégrée tout au long du cycle de développement logiciel.
• Analyser les exigences commerciales et techniques, concevoir, développer et exécuter des cas de test manuels détaillés.
• Identifier, documenter, prioriser et suivre les défauts jusqu'à leur résolution en utilisant des outils tels que Jira.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum or iterative software development environments
• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related testing role
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and defect management processes
• ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent software testing certification is desirable
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, or similar QA/project management tools
• Experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites using modern test automation frameworks and tools
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and back-end services is advantageous
• Experience creating and executing manual test plans, test cases, and regression testing activities
• Understanding of modern QA practices including automation, CI/CD, and shift-left testing principles is desirable
• Ability to analyse complex requirements and identify potential risks and edge cases
• Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills
• Exposure to test automation frameworks or AI-assisted testing tools is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
