Senior Commercial Finance Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Join CarTrawler as a Senior Commercial Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will shape the commercial performance of the company by partnering with senior leaders to drive profitable growth and smarter business decisions. You will lead a team of Finance Business Partners, transforming complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. You will work closely with various functions, including Commercial, Supply, Pricing, Operations, and Product & Technology, to embed a culture of profitability and accountability throughout the organization.

• Shape the commercial performance of CarTrawler by partnering with senior leaders to drive profitable growth and smarter business decisions.
• Lead a team of Finance Business Partners, transforming complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that deliver measurable value.
• Drive commercial insight across key functional initiatives, ensuring business decisions are supported by robust financial analysis and clear recommendations.
• Proven experience partnering with cross-functional leadership teams, building trusted relationships and delivering commercially focused outcomes
• Significant post-qualified experience in commercial finance, including experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, think beyond the immediate issue and translate complex information into practical recommendations that add real business value
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on value creation and the ability to translate financial analysis into compelling recommendations that influence senior stakeholders
• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) together with a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using business intelligence and data visualisation tools such as ThoughtSpot or Tableau
• Strong interest in applying AI and emerging technologies to improve Finance processes and automate manual activities. Practical experience would be advantageous
