As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a small, dedicated team driving the design and production of cutting-edge satellite technology. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of the entire process, from concept to flight, and see your hardware launched into space.

  • Design and oversee the electrical systems for satellite subsystems, including analog, power, thermal, and mixed signal designs.
  • Lead the process from concept to flight, optimizing designs for medium-scale mass production and ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of electrical subsystems into the overall satellite system.
  • Experience with embedded systems and peripheral interfaces (e.g, I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, Ethernet, etc)
  • Ability to make decisions regarding design and implementation
  • 4+ years of experience in taking designs from schematics to manufacturing
  • Excellent solder rework skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field
  • Experience with power, analog, and mixed signal PCB design
  • Experience with Altium tools for PCB design
  • Experience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
  • Knowledge of High Speed Design and DC-DC converters
  • This position requires access to export-controlled information, and as such, employment (or hiring of a contractor) is contingent upon the candidate’s ability to access all applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing being required by the Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls
