About The Role
Join Planet, a dynamic space technology company, as a Technical Program Manager (TPM). In this role, you will support cross-functional initiatives, drive execution across multiple teams, and gain exposure to the full project lifecycle. You will work alongside multi-disciplinary teams, communicate progress and risks to stakeholders, and support technical discussions. This is an excellent opportunity to build your program management skills in the commercial space industry.
- Assister à la coordination d'initiatives interfonctionnelles et à la conduite de l'exécution à travers plusieurs équipes.
- Travailler avec des TPM plus expérimentés et la direction pour développer et maintenir des plans de programme, aider à la planification de projet.
- Gagner de l'expérience dans le cycle de vie complet du projet et apprendre à expliquer des analyses techniques et des recommandations.
- Advanced knowledge of project management practices and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Expertise assisting with cross-functional projects and managing timelines with solid attention to detail
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly communicate findings
- Experience with engineering projects or technical environments
- Eligible for US Export Control licenses such as ITAR and EAR
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization
- 6+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Product Management, or a related field (or equivalent project coordination experience)
- Interest in or exposure to aerospace, ground stations, software, or space systems
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, platform development, APIs, or analytics
- Enthusiasm for the commercial space industry and mission-driven work
- Interest in learning about new technology development and how capabilities are extended
- Planet Labs Germany GmbH is authorized to receive U.S. export-controlled information at Planet under an export license issued by the Bureau of Industry and Security. This position requires access to U.S. and German/EU export-controlled information, and as such, employment (or hiring of a contractor) is contingent upon the candidate’s ability to access all applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing being required by German, EU, or U.S. authorities
