About The Role
Join Relay Tx, a dynamic biopharmaceutical company, as a Corporate Counsel. In this role, you will provide legal counsel on various corporate matters, support clinical trial execution, and ensure compliance with SEC and NASDAQ regulations. You will also draft and negotiate agreements, collaborate with investor relations, and oversee compliance policies. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, at least 4 years of corporate legal experience, and a strong commitment to ethics and integrity.
- Provide counsel on various corporate matters, including SEC reporting, corporate governance, public disclosure, financing, risk management, and a variety of other legal and business issues.
- Partner closely with the clinical development team to support the rapid initiation and execution of clinical trials across Relay Tx’s portfolio, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating clinical trial agreements.
- Collaborate with Relay Tx’s investor relations team with external communications, including the corporate website, press releases, and investor presentations.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate law, including substantial experience with SEC and NASDAQ rules and regulations, corporate governance and corporate finance
- You are resourceful and able to seamlessly multi-task various matters
- Your colleagues admire your technical legal skills, coupled with business acumen and judgment
- J.D. from an accredited law school; active membership in at least one state bar
- Most importantly, you are recognized as having a high degree of emotional intelligence
- Preference for experience reviewing, drafting, redlining, and negotiating a variety of contracts within the life sciences industry, but not required
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Minimum of 4 years’ corporate legal experience in a high-growth biopharmaceutical company and/or a nationally recognized law firm, with preferably at least two years at a nationally recognized law firm
- You have an unwavering commitment to personal and professional ethics and integrity
- You are a legal advisor and collaborative business partner to your colleagues
- You take pride in your effective problem-solving skills and your craftmanship
