About The Role

Join Sonar, a leading company in code quality and security. As a Developer Writer, you will create courses, labs, and learning content to help customers and partners maximize their use of SonarQube. You will also contribute to the Partner Accreditation Program, bridge the gap between technical capabilities and users, and maintain high-quality course content. This role offers a range of benefits, including a 401K plan, healthcare coverage, and generous time off.

  • Experience writing for both customer and partner/channel audiences is desirable but not required
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, accessible content — without dumbing it down for the audience who needs it
  • Hands-on experience with SonarQube (any edition) is a strong advantage; familiarity with static analysis, SAST, or code security concepts is a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills — you work well with SMEs, Instructional Designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to produce accurate, polished output
  • At least 3 years of experience creating technical content for developer or technical practitioner audiences — tutorials, documentation, eLearning, or similar
  • Experience working across content formats, including written and video (scripting, on-camera, or voiceover experience is a plus)
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and the mechanics of publishing and maintaining eLearning courses
  • A working understanding of software development practices: you're comfortable discussing CI/CD pipelines, code quality concepts, DevOps workflows, and cloud vs. self-hosted deployment models
