Director of Revenue Accounting

Join Hopper, a leading travel technology company, as the Director of Revenue Accounting. In this high-ownership role, you will be responsible for building and managing the end-to-end revenue recognition and partner economics function. You will work closely with the Global Corporate Controller and various teams to automate processes, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and maintain financial records. • Diseñar y construir el ciclo de facturación automatizado y la contabilidad de ingresos en NetSuite, convirtiendo los procesos manuales actuales en una solución escalable y repetible.
• Interpretar y contabilizar estructuras de acuerdos complejas, asegurando el reconocimiento preciso de los ingresos bajo ASC 606 y redactando memorandos técnicos de contabilidad para respaldarlo.
• Clear, confident communication style with senior leadership and external partners alike
• Preferred: NetSuite AR, billing, and automation experience
• Strong data reconciliation skills across large, multi-source datasets
• Experience owning collections and managing external partner relationships
• Ability to read and interpret commercial contracts and identify their accounting implications
• Advanced SQL skills — able to independently pull and reconcile data without relying on a data team
• CPA designation with 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including revenue recognition and partner or customer billing
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and demonstrated experience drafting technical accounting memos
• Preferred: A background at a high-growth technology or marketplace company
• Preferred: Experience working cross-functionally with data engineering or warehouse teams
• Preferred: Experience working as an IC and independently owning accounting functions
