Channel Sales Engineer

Join our team as a Channel Sales Engineer, where you will be instrumental in driving the growth of our company by supporting our channel partners. In this role, you will serve as the technical expert, providing pre-sales support and ensuring that our partners have the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. You will need a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include providing technical support during the pre-sales process, owning the technical success of strategic channel partners, developing effective technical enablement, and collaborating with the sales team to identify potential channel partners.

• Provide technical support to channel partners during the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and addressing technical inquiries.
• Develop effective technical enablement for channel partners by conducting training sessions and workshops, ensuring they are well-versed in product offerings.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to provide insights that will help shape the channel strategy, and gather feedback from channel partners and customers.

• Strong knowledge in one of the three major cloud provider environments related to roles/permissions/API (AWS and/or Azure preferred)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong understanding of data storage types and basic understanding of encryption techniques and key management, cloud IAM, and network design/engineering/protocol
• Fundamental network & database experience
• Previous Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP or data security experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales role
• Proven experience working with channel partners, VARs, or system integrators
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to address customer challenges
• Fundamental understanding of: ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, Privacy and Data Retention programs
• Knowledge of SFDC and opportunity tracking
• AWS Cloud Security Engineer or Architect
• AWS Solution Architect - Associate or Professional
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner - Foundational or Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamental
• Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Azure Administrator Associate
• Azure Solutions Architect
• CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional
