Senior Accounting Analyst (Revenue)

Join our finance organization as a Senior Accounting Analyst - Revenue. In this role, you will lead revenue and margin assurance, ensure GAAP compliance, and manage treasury administration and liquidity reporting. You will be involved in the month-end close and reporting process, focusing on process improvement and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, reporting, or audit, and experience with SQL query construction and data visualization.

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day revenue recognition and cost of revenue processes and reporting, ensuring strict compliance with US GAAP (specifically ASC 606) and internal financial policies.
• Perform month-end close responsibilities including complex journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accelerate the close process.
• Act as a subject matter expert for your accounting processes, document these processes accordingly with SOP creation and maintenance, and recommend and implement efficiencies through automation and best practices.
• The ideal candidate is an energetic problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has heavy experience working with and analyzing large volume datasets
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to process high volumes of transaction data without compromising accuracy
• Experience with SQL query construction and data visualization is highly preferred
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of urgency
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. MAcc or MBA is a plus
• 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or audit
• Experience with NetSuite or other major ERP systems is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or active candidacy is preferred
