About The Role

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high-quality support to the Group Vice President of Sales for the DACH region and the senior sales leaders across Germany and Switzerland. This role combines executive support and program management, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the DACH sales leadership team. You will manage complex schedules, coordinate travel arrangements, create executive briefing decks and presentations, plan and manage events, and provide administrative and operational support. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in an executive assistant or administrative assistant role, excellent communication skills in both German and English, and proficiency in MS Office.

  • Provide high-quality, day-to-day support to the Group Vice President (GVP) Sales of the DACH region and support the senior sales leaders across Germany and Switzerland.
  • Manage complex schedules, coordinate travel arrangements, and handle correspondence for multiple VP-level leaders across two countries.
  • Plan and deliver key regional programs such as leadership visits, bootcamps, return-to-office initiatives, and new hire orientation camps — owning timelines, coordination, and follow-through from start to finish.
  • We are looking for someone with multitasking abilities, exceptional social and project management skills. A successful Executive assistant will have a proactive demeanor to provide senior-level executive support and managing schedules
  • Workday is a fast growing company, and the Executive Assistant will need to handle ambiguity and multiple priorities. The utmost confidentiality is imperative, as you will be working on critical projects and will be privy to confidential information
  • Completed professional education or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of experience in an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or office coordination role, ideally supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing complex calendars, travel, and logistics across multiple senior leaders
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal), with the confidence and poise to interact with C-level and senior executives and adapt your communication style to different audiences
  • Detail-oriented and accurate, with the ability to manage complex information, spot inconsistencies, and maintain a high standard across documents, events, and communications
  • Skilled in time management and independent work, with the ability to manage competing priorities, see projects through to completion, and deliver high-quality results with minimal oversight
  • Adaptable and composed in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities, stay focused under pressure, and bring a solutions-oriented mindset to new challenges
  • AI literacy, with the ability to pioneer smart, AI-driven executive support ​as your ultimate force multiplier to automate workflows, optimize scheduling, supercharge operational efficiency and to become a tech-forward partner to our GVP
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with the ability to create executive-quality presentations and manage information across multiple tools and platforms
  • A collaborative team player, with the ability to build positive relationships across functions, contribute to a supportive team culture, and work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
