About The Role

Join our dynamic global team as a Senior TechOps Engineer. In this hands-on technical role, you will be responsible for the management and extension of the systems and platforms used to deliver consultant services to our customers. You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to oversee the creation of complex global IT solutions, while also mentoring team members and sharing your expertise. Flexibility is key, as there may be planned and unplanned out of hours work.

Facilitate the management and extension of internal systems and platforms to deliver consultant services.
Utilize automation and infrastructure as code principles to aid in the development and architecture of systems.
Lead the design and architectural development of IT systems, collaborating closely with departments and stakeholders.
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to fix issues
Previous experience working in a TechOps/Infrastructure Engineer role or similar technical IT role
Version Control using Git
Enterprise Backups (e.g Veeam)
Proficient Linux administration capability (e.g Ubuntu/Debian/RHEL)
Automation using Ansible
Enterprise Monitoring/Logging
Virtualisation (e.g VMWare/KVM/XEN/On Prem Cloud)
Demonstrably comfortable working on own initiative and as part of a larger team
Enterprise Server Hardware experience (Dell/HP)
Networking (Switching/Routing/Firewalling/Proxy/VPN)
Containerisation (e.g Docker/Docker-Compose/Podman/LXC)
Windows Server / Domain Knowledge
Confident in applying security hardening to various infrastructure components
Scripting (e.g Bash/Python/PHP/etc)
Security Mindset (System Hardening/Application Security Tooling)
Enterprise Storage (e.g SAN/DAS/NAS/Raid/FDE/SED)
Previous Datacenter experience
IAM (SSO/SAML/OIDC/Privileged Access Management)
OpenVPN
Linux Filesystems (e.g EXT/BTRFS/XFS/ZFS/LVM)
CI/CD and build automation
RH IDM/FreeIPA
Secret Storage (e.g Hashicorp Vault)
Encryption (Filesystem/Network)
SSO IDP Providers (e.g Keycloak/auth0/etc)
ELK / Elastic Stack / Beats
Kubernetes
Working with GPUs in VMs / Containers
CPU/GPU System Architecture Knowledge
Inference Engine knowledge (e.g VLLM/SGLang)
SQL (e.g MySQL/MariaDB/Postgres)
