Solutions Support Engineer (Weekend 2nd shift)

About The Role

Join our global team as a Solutions Support Engineer, where you'll provide outstanding technical support for our Wiz product. You'll troubleshoot technical issues, create and implement solutions, and participate in an on-call rotation. This is a weekend 2nd shift position, with a schedule of Friday to Tuesday, 7pm to 4am ET. Enjoy benefits such as a home office setup, health coverage, flexible PTO, and more.

  • Troubleshoot technical problems for customers, utilizing debugging, networking, and system administration skills.
  • Own, troubleshoot, and solve customer technical issues, collaborating with teams and following best practices.
  • Design and implement solutions that scale the support offering through automation, and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
  • Familiar with security frameworks or tools
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience in reading or debugging code in one or more of the following: Java, Python, Shell, JavaScript, JSON
  • Proficiency with command-line tools and Linux operating system environments
  • 2+ years of hands-on, technical experience in customer support, technical support, system administration, or related customer-facing role
  • Fast learner, natural curiosity, and love of technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or the equivalent industry experience and certifications
  • A minimum of 1+ year experience with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience with Kubernetes, system virtualization, on-prem and/or hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity and security systems, cloud monitoring, and logging, as well as local and cloud storage
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing)
  • Knowledge of basic web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, DNS)
  • Experience with DevOps technologies
  • Familiar with REST APIs or GraphQL
