Software Engineer (Cloud Logistics)

Join Nimble Cloud Logistics, a lean, 10-person team dedicated to developing the world's most advanced robotic fulfillment system. As a Software Engineer II, you will work with a cross-functional team to design and develop automation workflows, write tests, and push code to production. You will also measure and debug performance bottlenecks and mentor junior engineers. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud security practices, experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker, and 1-2+ years of industry experience.

• Design and develop automation workflows, write unit/integration/system tests, and conduct reviews to ensure high-quality code.
• Push and maintain code in production, be available for production support, and measure/debug performance bottlenecks.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide guidance on best practices, and contribute to the overall growth of the engineering team.
• Good understanding of writing unit and integration tests
• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and Docker
• 1-2+ years of industry experience
• Experience building full stack cloud applications (both frontend and backend)
• Strong technical documentation skills (architecture diagrams + sequence diagramming)
• Solid understanding of cloud security practices
