HR Generalist

Join 23andMe Research Institute, a nonprofit medical research organization focused on genetic discovery. As an HR Generalist, you will be the first point of contact for employee questions and support a broad range of human resources initiatives. You will assist with onboarding, offboarding, HR operations, and select HR partnering activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment practices.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies and general HR matters, responding in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth and positive employee experience, and help manage employee offboarding processes.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, organizational changes, talent planning, and performance processes, and help identify trends to improve employee experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, coordinator, or people operations role
