Senior or Staff Back End Engineer (AI Features)

Join our team as a Senior or Staff Back End Engineer (AI Features) and work directly with our GM of New Businesses to build new AI-powered features across our platform. You will primarily work in Ruby on Rails, integrating with LLMs from vendors like OpenAI and Google. You will own major product initiatives, collaborate with Product and Design, and mentor other engineers. • Concevoir, construire et lancer de nouvelles fonctionnalités orientées utilisateur alimentées par des modèles de langage de grande taille (LLMs).
• Posséder des initiatives majeures de produits de zéro à un, en partenariat avec une petite équipe.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes Produit et Design pour façonner de nouveaux produits et fonctionnalités.
• 6+ years experience building software products end to end
• Demonstrated ability to ship zero-to-one products as a solo engineer or team lead
• Startup experience strongly preferred
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM providers
• Deep mastery of either Ruby on Rails or another similar back end language
• Clear communication and collaboration skills across disciplines
• Familiarity with prompt engineering or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
• Prior work on family-facing or consumer social products
