Machine Learning Engineer (ML Flywheel)

• Implement new features in Waymo's data flywheel to scalably process ML data.
• Develop robust ML workflows to continuously and automatically train, evaluate, and deploy models for Waymo's onboard and offboard applications.
• Collaborate with ML modeling teams in understanding their workflows & design automation solutions that solve their problems.
• Experience monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting complex distributed systems
• Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners
• Solid Python or C++ skills
• Experience with distributed systems principles and experience building distributed systems for production environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 2+ years equivalent experience
• Experience with ML Ops principles and best practices
