Program Manager (UK Regulatory)

Join Waymo, a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, as a Program Manager focused on UK regulatory initiatives. In this hybrid role, you will lead and drive permitting programs across regulatory, legal, and policy spaces, working cross-functionally with various teams. You will prioritize and manage timelines, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying and reducing business-critical blockers. You will keep stakeholders informed and aligned, representing programs to senior leadership and partnering with them to remove obstacles.

• Lead and drive permitting programs across Regulatory, Legal, and Policy space, working cross-functionally with various teams.
• Prioritize, manage, and drive timelines, risks, and dependencies; resolve misalignments with overall scope and schedule.
• Proactively identify and reduce business-critical blockers, including compliance and regulatory challenges that may impact ability to operate.
• Experience leading large Regulatory/Legal programs across Product, Safety, Engineering, Ops, etc
• 5+ years experience managing complex programs where precision and attention to detail are critical to success
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clear decision-making
• Significant expertise in scaling processes within complex, growing areas
• Strong leadership skills, and clear verbal and written communication
• Expertise within autonomous vehicles or automotive space
• Experience with international and/or multinational regulatory frameworks
• Experience within regulatory or political spaces, including highly-regulated industries
• Experience with road safety, design, or transportation planning
