Senior Software Engineer (Perception Future Sensing Platforms)

Join Waymo, the leading self-driving technology company, as a Senior Software Engineer on the Perception team. In this role, you will develop and maintain the software that powers the Waymo Driver's perception of the world. You will work with a creative team, abstracting away differences between various sensor hardware and encapsulating hardware-specific logic. You will also prototype and run experiments for the next-generation Perception software stack and evaluate existing or hypothetical new sensor hardware. • Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des solutions logicielles pour l'interface entre les équipes matérielles de Waymo et le reste de l'organisation d'ingénierie autonome.

• Experience with sensor data processing (Lidar, camera, or Radar)
• Strong software architecture skills
• Experience with building, integrating, debugging and evaluating ML-based systems
• Strong experience programming in C++ with robust and efficient code
• BS in Computer Science, Robotics, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with autonomous vehicles (L4) or ADAS systems (L2/L3)
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with bring-up of new sensors or vehicle platforms
