About The Role

Join our Sensor Foundations Team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Robotics). In this role, you will transition low-level Perception tasks from algorithms to machine learning, work on system integration and optimization, and evaluate task-level and system-level quality. You will have a diverse skill set, including robotics, system integration, code optimization, and machine learning. Transition low-level Perception tasks from algorithms to machine learning, focusing on system integration and optimization.
Evaluate task-level and system-level quality, developing new metrics as needed to ensure high performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide cleaned-up sensor data through highly optimized APIs to Perception models.
Experience with System Integration
Proficiency with Python
5+ years of industry experience
Strong C/C++ skills
Experience with Computer Vision and Machine Learning
Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or similar technical field of study
Masters or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a similar discipline
Experience with sensor data processing (Lidar, camera, or radar)
Experience in the AV industry
