• Lead a small team of optimization experts, identifying system-level optimization opportunities and optimizing existing CPU code.
• Collaborate with machine learning practitioners to understand their input-processing needs and write and review CUDA code.
• Be a steward of compute resources, ensuring efficient use and optimization of hardware for software applications.

• Experience with system-level optimization
• Experience with optimizing CPU or GPU code (ideally both)
• 8+ years of industry experience
• in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
• Strong C++ programming skills
• or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
• Prior people management experience
• Experience with compiler technology
