About The Role
Join Astranis, a cutting-edge space technology company, as a Senior Financial Analyst in Production. In this role, you will partner with manufacturing and machining teams to ensure financial discipline and clarity as the company scales. You will own budgets, financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the Production function, drive sophisticated CapEx analysis, and deliver timely variance analysis and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, advanced financial modeling and reporting skills, and direct experience in manufacturing or hardtech environments.
- Own budgets, financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the Production function, serving as the primary financial partner for our machine shop and manufacturing teams.
- Drive sophisticated CapEx analysis, evaluating long-term equipment investments and modeling complex tradeoffs.
- Build scalable reporting tools and dashboards to provide leadership with clear visibility into production costs.
- You are an ideal candidate if you have exceptional analytical skills, can manage highly detailed investment models, and are eager to balance an analysis-heavy workload with strategic cross-functional business partnership
- Advanced financial modeling, Excel, and reporting skills, with a proven track record of handling sophisticated investment and CapEx analyses
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- 2–5 years of financial planning & analysis experience
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to "zoom out" and provide strategic insights to business leaders
- Direct experience in Manufacturing or Hardtech environments
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, bridging the gap between heavy data analysis and operational decision-making
- Netsuite or similar ERP system experience
- Startup or high-growth company experience
