Implement and enhance investment and financial products, focusing on backend development.
Analyze and provide feedback on product requirements, and implement features with clean and maintainable code.
Troubleshoot production issues, provide resolutions, and ensure software quality through rigorous testing.
You should be comfortable in contributing to every part of the stack: from UI to API development, to complex integrations with financial institutions and partners, and building infrastructure, but you will be expected to be focused mostly on backend development
You should feel comfortable in a fast paced, growing, and nimble environment, keeping in mind that everything we do is to better the lives of our users!
Strong fundamental understanding of relational Databases (Postgresql, Mysql)
Passion for technology and a continuous learner mindset
5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong backend development background
Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and DevOps practices is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance web applications
Someone who isn't afraid of responsibility, a good sense of humor and a down-to-earth personality
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
Able to model and design intuitive and scalable schemas
Proven experience on building backend services with high availability and scalability requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience with agile/scrum development methodologies
Strong experience with Javascript, Typescript and Node.js
Motivated to leverage new AI tools and technologies
