Workplace IT Internship (6 month term)

Join LiveEO, a company that uses satellite data to monitor infrastructure on a planetary scale. As a Workplace IT Intern, you will support the IT team in various tasks, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing hardware inventory, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding of team members. This is a full-time, 6-month internship position that requires presence in the office five days a week.

• Be the first point of contact for colleagues when they need IT help, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Support onboarding and offboarding of team members, setting up devices, creating accounts, and ensuring everyone has what they need.
• Assist in maintaining local networks to ensure reliable connectivity and support the team in managing and administrating internal tool stack.
• Interest to learn new technologies to improve Workspace
• Good understanding of Windows, macOS and Linux environments (even from personal use)
• Hands on experience with one of the scripting language Python, Bash or Powershell
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. German is a plus, but not a must-have
• Good communication skills : you're comfortable asking questions and explaining things clearly to nontechnical colleagues
• Good problem-solving instincts: you enjoy figuring things out and finding solutions
• Ideally, you bring:
• Some knowledge or practical experience about tools: Google Workspace, Jumpcloud, Microsoft365, Slack, Jira and Confluence and SnipeIT
• Good knowledge or practical experience of networking, IT security and compliance
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks without dropping the ball
• A genuine interest in IT and how technology enables great teams to work
