Product Marketing Manager
Distyl · San Francisco, United States
About The Role
Join Distyl, a leader in enterprise AI for complex customer experience. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will craft the narrative, enable our sales team, and build foundational content that positions Distyl as a leader in the industry. You will develop tailored messaging, create sales enablement materials, and work closely with founders and sales leadership to translate customer conversations into scalable assets. This role requires strong writing skills, experience in B2B enterprise software marketing, and the ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and own the "Why Distyl" narrative for CX, tailored by vertical, and continuously evolve messaging based on sales conversations and customer feedback.
- Build pitch decks, one-pagers, leave-behinds, battle cards, and objection handling guides that enable AEs to run independently in sales meetings.
- Develop and maintain customer case studies, build ROI frameworks and value quantification tools that support deal advancement, and establish and manage a customer reference program.
- 7-10 years of product marketing experience in B2B enterprise software, ideally AI, data platforms, or complex technical products
- This is a hands-on role for a strong writer and operator who can produce polished content themselves not just brief agencies or manage freelancers
- You thrive in early-stage environments, enjoy building systems and narratives from scratch, and are comfortable working closely with sales teams rather than operating in a siloed marketing function
- Able to operate independently while collaborating closely with founders and cross-functional teams
- Experience marketing to enterprise buyers in regulated industries (financial services, insurance, healthcare a strong plus)
- Strong plus if you have experience building or specific ideas for AI-Native Product Marketing
- Exceptional writing skills—can produce polished, publication-ready decks, one-pagers, and long-form content with minimal oversight
- Proven track record working closely with sales teams—not siloed in "marketing"—with materials that actually get used
- Has been early at a company before (first 50 employees) or demonstrated ability to build from scratch without established playbooks
- Comfortable with technical products and can translate complex capabilities into business value
