About The Role
Join Salesforce, the world's #1 CRM, as a Relationship Manager in our Global Private Equity & VC Practice. In this role, you will support the growth of our strategic Private Equity partnerships, deepen relationships, and accelerate value creation. You will also contribute to the scaling of the Private Equity Practice team and support the execution of go-to-market plans. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with senior Private Equity executives and portfolio company executives, and to make a significant impact on the growth of Salesforce.
- Support the growth of strategic Private Equity partnerships by bringing unique points of view and analytical rigor.
- Develop unique points of view on value creation opportunities across the PE firm's portfolio, lead robust quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Act as a connective tissue between account teams and the Private Equity Practice to accelerate opportunities and drive them to closure.
- A high tolerance for ambiguity; ability to focus and deliver in a constantly evolving environment, take charge and make things happen
- Exposure to working internationally, both with international clients and on international teams
- Experience influencing decisions in corporate transactions with public and private investment teams
- Experience working internationally, both with international clients and on international teams
- Exposure to working at the C-level, with evidence of gaining deep insight into the business dynamics of large enterprises and across industries, as well as articulate the organisation impacts brought by technology
- A willingness to travel on as-needed basis >30% of the time
- An independent, self-starter with strong work ethic and personal drive and character qualities that match with our company’s core values and inspire others to follow and act
- Exceptional communication, strategic, analytical, influencing, and consulting skills, as well as a track record of thriving in complex, multi-disciplinary teams
- A superior ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- 5-7+ years of experience in private equity/credit, venture capital, premier consulting, investment bank, M&A, strategy, enterprise software, or digital transformation
- Experience in M&A, corporate strategy or digital transformation
- Experience in a strategic business development role, preferably in the Private Equity, Venture Capital or M&A industry
