Corporate Development Senior Manager (Data and AI Transformation)

Join Salesforce's Corporate Development team as a Senior Manager focused on Data and AI Transformation. In this role, you will leverage AI to streamline operations, automation, and analytics, and work cross-functionally to automate and analyze data around the M&A pipeline. You will also support market research and analysis, monitor portfolio performance, and prepare materials for the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate has experience in management consulting, data science, strategic finance, or M&A, and is comfortable working with executives and stakeholders at all levels.

• Sourcing and executing strategic acquisitions and investments, with a focus on leveraging AI to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to automate and streamline processes, measure, analyze, and visualize data around the M&A pipeline.
• Owning standardized reporting, pipeline metrics, and leading analysis on the portfolio of M&A deals in a given year.
• The ideal candidate thrives in delivering solutions to complex problems, has an affinity for data analysis and critical thinking in support of driving business decisions, and is comfortable working with executives and stakeholders of all levels
• Previous experience in management consulting, data science, strategic finance, or M&A
• 6-8 years of total experience and a strong educational pedigree
• Experience working in the M&A and the technology sector preferred
• Experience using AI tools to for process improvement, within M&A a plus
• Extremely adept at integrating disparate information, correlating data, and understanding data trends into research papers or briefings with guidance
• Experience working with Salesforce, business visualization tools eg. Tableau a plus
• M&A experience - understanding of financial and valuation metrics; ability to identify and track business and operational key performance indicators
• Acumen to analyze the data and be the expert to identify inconsistencies and present findings
• Experience with data quality assessment and implementing solutions to improve the data quality
• Intellectual curiosity and strategic vision to produce credible analysis based on numerous interrelated data sets
• Strong business judgement and attention to detail
• High level of energy, passion and dedication to success; utmost respect for confidentiality
