About The Role

Join Salesforce as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, where you will lead the Core-on-Git team, responsible for optimizing developer experience and scalability of Git operations. You will drive AI enablement initiatives, partner with internal teams, and establish rigorous standards for validating AI-generated code. This role requires deep collaboration across multiple platform teams and a balance between immediate developer needs and long-term platform evolution.

  • Strong data-driven decision-making, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead with both technical authority and human-centric coaching
  • Proven track record leading distributed platform or developer tools teams with end-to-end ownership
  • Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of AI-native development tools - LLM integrations, agent orchestration, and MCP frameworks
  • Strong technical grounding in version control systems (Git), source control management at scale, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Effective communicator across technical, product, and executive audiences
  • Previous experience in platform engineering or infrastructure roles
  • Open-source contributions or community engagement in Git, GitHub, or developer tooling spaces
  • Background in CI/CD systems, build optimization, or developer productivity tools
  • Experience working within or alongside Salesforce products or ecosystems
  • Experience with monorepo workflows and tooling at scale
  • Experience operating at enterprise scale - managing systems that support thousands of developers and millions of commits
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Deep expertise in Git internals, GitHub APIs, and enterprise SCM architecture
