About The Role
Join Salesforce's Digital Marketing Technology group as a Front End Developer. In this role, you will design and build innovative solutions for the <Salesforce.com> website platform, develop scalable frontend components, and drive technical excellence. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and performance engineers, and mentor team members on frontend technologies. - Conception, design, implementation, and testing of features for the <Salesforce.com> website platform.
- Development of scalable frontend components and systems using modern web standards and component-based architectures.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused features while maintaining platform stability and scalability.
- Proven experience within the marketing technologies domain, with focus on areas like content management, classification and taxonomy, Customer Identity experiences
- Track record of delivering transformative solutions across complex platform ecosystems
- Component architecture understanding - MVC patterns, design systems, web components
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation and cross-team collaboration
- Expert-level proficiency with modern HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and TypeScript
- Modern build toolchain expertise - Vite, Webpack, Rollup, esbuild, npm/Yarn
- Mobile-first responsive design and cross-browser compatibility experience
- Testing expertise - Test Driven Development, Jest, Playwright, Cucumber, and frontend testing methodologies
- Web performance optimization and security best practices knowledge
- 6+ years of production frontend development experience on large-scale, complex web applications
- A related technical degree required
- Strong React experience (Angular, Vue, Ember also considered)
- Design system experience - building and scaling component libraries from scratch
- Identity and authentication systems experience - OAuth, SAML, SSO, user management, security protocols
- Accessibility champion - WCAG compliance and inclusive design implementation
- A demonstrated, AI-first approach to engineering actively using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex etc.) to move faster and help the team do the same
- Internationalization/localization implementation experience
