About The Role
Join Salesforce Professional Services as a Solution Architect, where you will serve as a strategic advisor and product authority for our largest enterprise customers. You will lead workstreams in complex customer engagements, drive the vision, and achieve key deliverables. Your strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and industry experience will be essential in delivering customer return on investment. You will interact with various levels of the client organization, analyze issues, and craft comprehensive solutions. Additionally, you will engage with internal teams to ensure standard processes are followed and contribute to thought leadership in the industry.
- Lead and manage one or more workstreams in complex enterprise customer engagements, ensuring the successful delivery of key deliverables.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging strong communication skills and technical knowledge to drive customer return on investment.
- Identify and proactively lead risk areas, negotiate solutions to complex problems, and ensure project/program direction remains on track.
- Experience working with Salesforce GovCloud or GovCloud Plus is desired
- 5+ years of shown experience in enterprise-level projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and known work
- Extensive experience with configuration and customization on the Salesforce platform
- Authority level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
- Experience in detailing business processes and wire-framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs
- Experience working with clients within the Public Sector industry
- A great listener with the ability to connect with people in diverse roles
- Hands-on technical experience with Service Cloud, OmniStudio and Public Sector (PSS) is required
- Possible travel of about 25%, but exact travel requirements will vary based on customer
- Resourceful and entrepreneurial thinker who can work through and solve problems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience
- This candidate must be a Canadian citizen
- Meticulous individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
- Strong presentation skills; able to optimally present a point of view and clearly articulate the rationale to a variety of customers
- Must be a standout colleague as demonstrated through a customer qualification of a large scale/enterprise implementation with multiple work streams
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core proficiencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
- Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories and providing detailed system and functional designs
- Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience are strongly recommended
- Confirmed results leading customer and/or partner success stories
- Delivering high-value business outcomes applying an agile approach
- Experience working with Experience Cloud
- This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position
