Pharmacy Technician - Infusion

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Access Services Representative to provide insurance benefit validation and obtain authorizations for home and ambulatory infusion therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all new referrals for Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services Home and Infusion Suite services. This work includes obtaining the order and other required documentation, conferencing with the referral source, the Pharmacist, Infusion Nurse Coordinator and other key stakeholders; and verifying insurance eligibility and benefits; cost of medication, obtaining pre-authorizations and re-authorizations and assisting patients with copay and financial assistance.
