About The Role

Join our team as a Chip Simulation Software Intern, where you will co-design, develop, and test simulations of our custom hardware and tools. This is a 12-week paid internship, and we are looking for candidates for Fall '26, Spring '27, and Summer '27. You will work at the cutting edge of hardware innovation, closely coordinating with both software and hardware teams throughout the development process.

  • Co-designing, developing, and testing simulations of custom hardware and tools.
  • Working closely with both software and hardware teams throughout the development path.
  • Gaining hands-on experience in chip simulation and tooling while contributing to hardware innovation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
  • Strong understanding of hardware/software co-design
  • Strong understanding of low-level software engineering
  • Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust
  • Progress towards a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience with Linux internals, kernel development, or driver debugging
  • Experience with hardware diagnostics or interpreting hardware logs
  • Exposure to server virtualization or CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Rust or embedded development
