Talent Ops

Join Etched, a fast-growing company where talent is our biggest advantage. As a Talent Operations Lead, you will work at the intersection of strategy, execution, and analytics. You will report directly to the Head of Talent and have the opportunity to shape how Etched scales its team. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining Excel models, creating presentation materials, driving people analytics initiatives, and partnering closely with the Head of Talent. This is a high-visibility role with a competitive salary, equity, and full insurance coverage.

• Exceptional slide-building skills (clear, concise, compelling)
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling, basic automation)
• High EQ and excellent communication skills
• Bias for action, curiosity, and comfort in ambiguity
• Passion for talent, recruiting, and people
• Exposure to analytics or data science (SQL, Python, or lightweight scripting)
• Experience in talent ops, people ops, management consulting, or other high-intensity operational roles
• Interest in building internal tools and dashboards
• Energized by high standards, ambitious goals, and working alongside exceptional teammates
• Comfortable toggling between strategy and execution in the same day
• A consulting-trained operator looking for more ownership and speed
• We are a fully in-person team in San Jose (Santana Row), and greatly value engineering skills. We do not have boundaries between engineering and research, and we expect all of our technical staff to contribute to both and work across disciplines as needed
