Cook II - Sportsbook and Bar

Join our team as a Cook II at our Sportsbook and Bar. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and assisting in the training of junior staff. You will work closely with the Room Chef, Sous Chefs, and Cook 1 to ensure proper preparation, stocking, sanitation, and presentation of food. This position requires the ability to multitask, stand for long periods, and work a variety of hours, including holidays and weekends.

• Cleans, cuts, and grinds meats, poultry, and seafood; dips food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them; and stirs and strains soups and sauces.
• Assists in the training of Cook 3 and Steward/utility staff, responsible for the proper preparation and presentation of all menu items.
• Works closely with the Room Chef, Sous Chefs and Cook 1 to ensure proper preparation, stocking, sanitation, and presentation required by management.
