Operation Associate, IPO Vetting

Job Summary

The IPO Vetting Department of the Listing Division is responsible for processing

• (1) applications for new equity listings including transactions by listed companies deemed to be new listings; and
• (2) pre-IPO enquiries relating to new equity listings.

Job Duties

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support to a team manager in processing IPO applications
• Draft comment letters and Department reports to Listing Committee
• Provide support for pre-IPO enquiries and IPO related policy matters as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

• Qualified accountants/lawyers or university graduates of other relevant disciplines with at least 3 years working experience in accounting, law, corporate finance, investment banking or a related field
• Experience that demonstrates knowledge of the Listing Rules and knowledge of the securities industry and its practices including securities laws and accounting practices
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills and knowledge of research, investigative techniques and procedures
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is essential
