About The Role

Join our innovative team as a Software Engineering Manager, where you'll lead and grow our software engineering team across various domains. You'll define and own the overall software architecture for our robotics platforms and cloud services, drive software development from design through delivery and long-term maintenance, and establish development processes, standards, and best practices. You'll collaborate closely with hardware, mechanical, systems, product, and operations teams to ensure cohesive end-to-end system design. Additionally, you'll manage external software vendors and contractor partnerships, participate in hiring, mentoring, and performance development, and have a significant impact on our product and team performance.

Lead and grow the software engineering team across firmware, embedded, backend, and cloud domains.
Define and own the overall software architecture for robotics platforms and cloud services, driving software development from design through delivery.
Establish development processes, standards, and best practices, and implement scalable infrastructure for remote monitoring, dashboards, and over-the-air updates.
7+ years of software engineering experience with significant ownership of complex systems
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving requirements
Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator
Strong leadership experience, including hiring, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams
Demonstrated ability to build scalable and maintainable software systems
Proven track record with embedded systems (firmware & Linux)
Experience designing backend services and cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent)
