Lead Product Manager (Core Payments)

Join Trustly, a leading company in the digital payment industry. As the Lead Product Manager for Core Payments, you will be responsible for shaping the future of open banking payment solutions. You will own the product strategy and execution for our core payment capabilities, working closely with various internal and external stakeholders. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone with deep payments expertise and a passion for product innovation.

• Own and drive product strategy and execution for Trustly’s core payment capabilities, including transaction processing, payment routing, funding, reconciliation, and ledger systems.
• Design and launch new payment products and enhance existing ones to drive business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation strategies are incorporated into product design.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver seamless, scalable solutions, translating market trends, customer needs, and regulatory shifts into actionable product opportunities.
• Experience in Agile environments with a track record of shipping high-quality products
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master’s or MBA a plus)
• Deep understanding of traditional and emerging payment rails (ACH, Wires, RTP, eChecks, etc.)
• 8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on payment systems and financial technology
• Familiarity with global banking systems, payment regulations, and open banking frameworks
• Strong technical fluency; comfortable evaluating third-party solutions and collaborating with engineering teams
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; can translate complex topics for diverse audiences
• Skilled at navigating ambiguity, prioritizing effectively, and making sound decisions quickly
• Experience working with banking partners and treasury operations
