Corporate Accounting Manager

Join Notion as a Corporate Accounting Manager, where you'll take ownership of the month-end close process across multiple entities and currencies. You'll work closely with various teams, lead cross-functional projects, and mentor junior team members. Your role will involve using AI tools to improve close quality, supporting business reporting needs, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, a solid grounding in US GAAP, and strong project management skills.

• Take end-to-end ownership of key areas of the month-end close, ensuring clear documentation, tight controls, and a reliable review cadence.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, audits, and new entity openings, with clear timelines and steady communication.
• Mentor junior team members, providing clear goals, regular feedback, and real investment in their growth as the team scales.
• An AI-forward mindset - you're comfortable using AI tools to improve close accuracy, speed, and documentation
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at a high-growth or multinational SaaS company
• Solid grounding in US GAAP, expense allocations, and intercompany accounting
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to partner across teams
• A genuine enthusiasm for process improvement and staying efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems like NetSuite, Zip, Ramp or similar tools
• Comfort with multi-currency accounting and reporting across global entities
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of driving cross-functional initiatives from kickoff to completion
• Some exposure to public-company readiness or internal controls frameworks (SOX experience is a plus)
