Software Engineer (Data Product Platform)

As a Software Engineer on the Data Product Platform team, you will design, implement, scale, and operate systems, tools, and frameworks for event-based and data-powered product experiences. You will work cross-functionally with various teams and be responsible for monitoring and operating systems in production. Ideal candidates have experience in full-stack development, particularly in the Typescript and node.js ecosystem, and have worked on data or infrastructure-focused engineering teams.

• Design, implement, scale, and operate systems, tools, and frameworks to build event-based or data-powered product experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and partners from the Product, Data Science, Data Engineering, and AI teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Monitor and operate systems in production, optimize performance, and evolve critical production systems with minimal user disruption.

• You’ve had past experience working full-stack in Typescript and node.js ecosystem
• You have worked on data or infrastructure-focused engineering teams, particularly ones that own a wide swath of software platforms (hosted or built in-house). You've experienced the challenges of scaling and re-architecting event-based platforms and infrastructure through orders of magnitude of growth and scaling data volume
