Startup Market Lead (AMER)

Join Notion, a leading productivity software company, as the Startup Market Lead for North America. In this role, you will drive startup acquisition and ecosystem growth, focusing initially on the U.S. market. You will build and manage relationships with founders, accelerators, VCs, and other strategic partners, while increasing awareness and adoption of Notion within the startup ecosystem. This position requires a deep understanding of the U.S. startup ecosystem, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Driving startup acquisition growth across North America through partnerships, ecosystem initiatives, events, and localized programs.
• Building and managing relationships with founders, accelerators, VCs, startup communities, universities, and strategic ecosystem partners.
• Increasing awareness and adoption of Notion within the North American startup ecosystem through regional campaigns and initiatives.
• Experience in startups, partnerships, business development, ecosystem or growth-focused roles
• Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically in fast-moving environments
• Strong understanding of the NAMER startup ecosystem, especially the U.S
• Data-oriented mindset with focus on measurable business impact
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and regional priorities simultaneously
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills across founders, investors, partners and community leaders
• Familiarity with AI tools, productivity software and modern startup workflows
• Founder or startup operating experience
• You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work
• Experience with B2B or product-led growth environments
• Experience working with venture capital firms, accelerators or startup communities
