Strategic Finance (Business Partnership & Workflow Automation)

Join Notion's Strategic Finance team as a Finance Business Partner. In this role, you will collaborate with leaders across various business functions to drive financial insights, improve planning processes, and provide strategic analyses. You will build and own financial models, partner with cross-functional teams for reporting and forecasting, and identify and implement AI and automation-driven improvements. The ideal candidate has deep FP&A expertise, a passion for automation, and experience in the technology industry.

• Partner with executive leaders and functional leaders to drive critical business decisions, build trusted relationships, and proactively surface insights, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and own financial models, including capacity and benefits modeling, and prepare strategic trade-off analyses to help leadership prioritize investments.
• Identify and implement AI and automation-driven improvements that allow financial processes to scale, drive real-time reporting, and enable impactful analyses.
• The ideal candidate brings deep FP&A expertise and a passion for automation and continuous improvement
• Experience leveraging AI in financial workflows. You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail — “get it done” attitude
• Comfortable partnering directly with senior leadership and building cross-functional relationships
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budget vs. actuals, annual planning, and long-range planning
• 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance in the technology industry; or in accounting, investment banking, consulting, treasury, or private equity
• Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to continually up-level current approaches and processes
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with NetSuite, Workday, Zip, and planning tools (Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan)
• You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications
• Experience with a high-growth tech company, including native AI, SaaS, or consumption-based businesses
