Senior Accountant (Financial Close)

Join Paxos, a leading blockchain technology company, as a Senior Accountant. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the month-end, quarterly, and financial closing process, ensuring compliance with GAAP and international statutory reporting requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in driving continuous improvement in accounting operations and financial reporting processes.

• Assister à la clôture mensuelle, trimestrielle et financière, en veillant à ce que toutes les échéances de reporting soient respectées.
• Analyser les livres et les dossiers sur une base mensuelle pour garantir l'exactitude et l'exhaustivité, et assurer la conformité aux normes GAAP.
• Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour fournir des informations précieuses et aider à la mise en œuvre de nouvelles normes comptables.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA license and strong knowledge of GAAP
• A minimum of 3 years of combined experience in public accounting (audit) and private/in-house accounting
• Strong drive to continuously improve the accounting operations, controls and financial reporting processes, including leveraging systems and technologies to improve workflows and scalability
• Experience overseeing and managing accounting staff
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in start-ups and/or financial services
• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP or other cloud-based accounting software
