About The Role

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer (Payments) and take ownership of the engineering behind our payments platform, which processes over $3 billion. You will work closely with a dedicated team to consolidate and refactor our legacy payment systems, build and maintain integrations across various financial platforms, and design for correctness in money movement. This is a full-commitment, full-ownership role based in our San Francisco office, where you will work closely with the CEO and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.

Consolidate and refactor a payments system assembled from many legacy system integrations into something clean, reliable, and fast.
Build and maintain integrations across banking, debit cards, Stripe, SAP, partner advances, payroll, and our billing platform.
Own the orchestration and tracking/reconciliation layer across our third-party fintech partners, ensuring correctness in money movement.
Senior engineer with a strong payments background and real experience building payment systems and integrations (fintech a plus)
Comfortable with the regulatory landscape around payments, banking, and cards
Excited to be close to the build and close to customers
Exceptionally high attention to detail; strong finance background is a plus
Uses AI tools and figures things out independently
Likes working on a small team and moving fast; bias toward action
