Product Designer: Design Systems (12 month FTC)

Join the Financial Times as a Product Designer in the Design Systems team. In this 12-month fixed-term contract, you will play a key role in the evolution of Origami, the FT's design system. You will collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and product managers, and work with Brand and Editorial Design teams to ensure alignment across foundational styles and journalistic layouts. This role requires strong product design craft, experience working on digital products or design systems, and a collaborative approach.

• Design and evolve reusable components, patterns, foundations, and libraries within Origami, helping reduce duplication and improve consistency across teams.
• Contribute to system solutions across web and mobile, supporting hybrid environments spanning iOS, Android, and web.
• Help identify opportunities for reusable patterns and system improvements based on product needs and feedback from teams.
