Senior Product Manager (Data and Reporting)
Wrapbook · United States
About The Role
Join Wrapbook as a Senior Product Manager II, where you'll own the data foundation and customer-facing reporting at the core of our product. This high-leverage role will involve building a flexible, enterprise-grade reporting foundation, setting the data quality and pipeline strategy, and partnering with AI-focused PMs. You'll engage directly with enterprise customers, write clear product requirements, and execute with a dedicated team. Enjoy remote work, a 401K & RRSP, stock options, parental leave, customizable health benefits, and a minimum of 3 weeks off annually.
- Own the reporting roadmap and drive the foundation for flexible, enterprise-grade reporting, ensuring every report is accurate, auditable, and fast.
- Set the data quality and pipeline strategy, and own the roadmap for how Wrapbook's production, payroll, and accounting data is structured, validated, and made accessible.
- Partner with AI-focused PMs to ensure the data substrate is clean and structured enough for AI bets to work reliably, and define the path to scalable data infrastructure.
- Do you love tackling complex and technically challenging problems? Are you a self-starter who is energized by solving problems for the customer? Do you have an entrepreneurial calling to create new products, and have an unrelenting tenacity to get things done? Is who you work with as important to you as what you work on? Then this is the role for you
- Experience building enterprise-grade reporting products — a deep understanding of what finance, accounting, and operations teams need from a reporting layer, and how to build for auditability and scale
- A point of view on how canonical business metrics should be defined and governed upstream of reporting — and why this matters for data trust across a product with multiple consumers of the same numbers
- Strong written communication — able to write precise product requirements and data specifications that engineering teams can build from without ambiguity
- Experience working in or building for financial software, payroll, accounting, or entertainment production is preferred but not required
- Experience building self-serve or configurable reporting capabilities — where customers shape their own views and delivery cadences rather than consuming reports a PM pre-defined. Familiarity with embedded analytics patterns is a strong plus
- Customer empathy and a problem-solving mindset — comfortable engaging directly with production accountants and finance executives to uncover root causes and turn pain points into roadmap priorities
- A balance of strategic vision and executional rigor — able to define the long-term data architecture direction while delivering near-term reporting wins for customers
- Technical fluency with data pipelines, data modeling, and reporting infrastructure. SQL proficiency expected; experience with tools like Snowflake, dbt, or similar is a strong plus
- 6+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time owning data-intensive products — analytics platforms, reporting infrastructure, BI tools, or similar
- Systems thinking — an instinct for how data quality upstream affects every downstream consumer: AI features, customer-facing reports, integrations, and internal tooling
