About The Role
Join Manychat as an AI & Marketing Automation Manager, where you'll be at the forefront of integrating AI into our marketing operations. You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing Operations and the CMO, identifying opportunities for AI and automation, building systems, and enhancing team capabilities. This role is perfect for someone with a strong marketing background, a passion for technology, and a desire to make a significant impact on the organization. - Lead AI enablement across Marketing, becoming the go-to person for AI-related inquiries and making AI implementation a reality. - Design and ship AI-powered and automated workflows, building and maintaining automations, implementing MCPs, and working within GitHub repos. - Measure and prove the impact of AI and automation initiatives, defining success metrics tied to PLG outcomes and reporting efficiency gains. - A builder’s track record: you’ve created working automations yourself, not just specified them. Comfortable in tools like n8n, implementing MCPs, working within GitHub repos and , and writing lightweight scripts or API integrations - Strong product sense and a bias toward shipping over deliberating - 5-8+ years in marketing, with deep, hands-on knowledge of the modern marketing tool stack - A natural enabler’s instinct: you love making other people better at their jobs and can teach technical concepts without making anyone feel small - A strong grasp of customer data: Braze’s consumer event structure, customer journey and event-field mapping, mapping fields between tools, and validating conversion events across Google, Meta, and TikTok - A proven ability to operate cross-functionally and earn trust across the business - An adaptive, fast-learning mindset, you get to ~80% capability quickly and are highly coachable - Direct experience at a PLG company where the product is the primary acquisition and expansion channel - Note: We value a strong marketing foundation, builder instincts, and coachability over years of formal engineering experience. If you’re adaptive and quick to learn, you don’t need to check every technical box on day one - Python or JavaScript for lightweight scripts and custom integrations - Prior growth or lifecycle marketing experience, so you know the funnel pain points firsthand
