Financial Controller 6 Month FTC

Join our team as a Financial Controller for a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be the primary finance bridge between our Paris operational teams and the Energy Aspects finance function in London. You will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and planning, as well as process improvement and systems migration. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting, 7+ years of experience in a challenging environment, and fluency in French and English.

• Act as the primary finance bridge between operational teams and the finance function, ensuring alignment on KPIs, budget assumptions, and group reporting requirements.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports, P&Ls, and Cash Flow Statements for the CFO, C-Level, and the Energy Aspects group, and analyze variances.
• Manage day-to-day management control activities, review and improve existing management control processes, and lead the migration to a new accounting platform.

• Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting
• Experience (7+ years) in a challenging environment (fast-growing start-up, consulting, audit firm)
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
• Strong organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint) and the Google Suite (Sheets, Slides)
• Knowledge of SAP Business by Design; familiarity with Sage Intacct or a similar mid-market accounting platform is a plus
• Fluency in French and English – day-to-day written and verbal interaction with the Energy Aspects finance team in London
